St Germain des Pres is the vibrant and artsy bohemian neighborhood located on La Rive Gauche (the Left Bank of Seine). It’s the home of Cafe de Flore and Shakespeare & Company to name a few. Strolling through the iconic Parisian cafes, quirky bookshops and old cinemas will definitely take you on a journey through time, so don’t miss it (and don’t forget to wear a beret and carry a novel because you will sit down and read it on one of the side benches / Cafe de Flore / any cafe to maximise your Parisian vibe).

La Quartier Latin owes its name to the students of the Sorbonne who studied Latin from Renaissance times onwards. From an earlier era, the medieval maze of winding streets, cobblestone alleywalls and warmly lit cafes in Saint-Germain has always been the meeting place for the artists and writers.
