After being charmed by Prague, we left in the morning to our next destination (Austria) and stopping shortly at Hluboká Castle and Cesky Krumlov on our way. I highly recommend these two places for a day (or extended) trip from the capital, being one and a half hour away by car. We used CK Shuttle van which fit us seven people and our (huge) suitcases. You can find many other car pickups online but I’m really glad I chose them. They’re easy and fast to communicate with since I made the booking from back home. Our driver is sweet and helpful and patient enough to wait for us (when you’re traveling with a grup be ready to get your team scattered away everywhere.)
Hluboká Castle, one and half hour from Prague, is a historic château situated in Hluboká nad Vltavou, and is known as one of the most beautiful castle in the Czech Republic.
Český Krumlov, a UNESCO Heritage town that is bisected by the Vltava River, it’s 40 minutes from our previous destination or 2 hours from Prague.
