This is part of the Europe Winter trip we had on February (see the complete itinerary here).

After so many years of being enchanted by the images of this city, I finally got the chance to visit Prague. Let’s just say that it did, in fact, look like a scene out of a storybook. Our trip was on February, when the daytime is short and the sky is constantly foggy. But all the incredibly impressive gothic architecture, art nouveau facades and cobbled street covered in snow totally make up for the weather. They call Prague a fairytale city not without reason, every walking direction met us with a breathtaking view.

Being here is such a short time, we only managed to explore a few of sights in the city. I wish we had a week or two, because there’s so many places I had to miss such as The Clementinum, The Dancing House, and Prague Castle.

We stayed in an AirBnb during our stay and I can’t recommend this place enough! The apartment is located conveniently within walking distance from the Old town Square and the Jewish Quarter. It’s a classic apartment building with high ceilings and big windows to let lots of lights in, a spacious kitchen and two beautiful bedrooms (also elevator for travellers with big suitcases. Us.) Vera is the sweetest host ever. She helped us with our luggage, gave informations and travel tips and surprised us with a bottle of wine in the dining room 😉 you can find her beautiful apartment here on the AirBnb site.

For you who only have such a short time to explore Prague, here are my recommended walking route for the photo spots:

Charles Bridge

Mala Strana / Lesser Town

Warm Chocolate Trdelník! How I miss this pastry!Lennon Wall

Saint Nicholas Church

The Spanish Synagogue in Josevof

Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí)

Old Town Hall Tower

Stay tuned because I will post soon about our next day adventures in Cesky Krumlov and Hluboka Castle! Kisses!
